Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas. The name "Spiti" means "The Middle Land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Our expedition takes you through treacherous roads, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and homestays that offer unparalleled warmth.
Itinerary
Drive through pine forests. Evening acclimatisation walk.
Enter the Kinnaur valley. Baspa river views.
Views of Kinner Kailash. Visit ancient temples.
Enter Spiti Valley. Dramatic terrain change. Tabo monastery.
Dhankar Monastery hike. Pin Valley drive.
Key Monastery, Kibber, Chicham Bridge.
Kunzum Pass. Hike to the moon lake.
Off-roading via Batal and Atal Tunnel.
Trip ends after breakfast.
